Buggar! 0-0 HT would've been nice and gave us an outlet to go for it in the 2nd half. Just as Norris goes off we think that little bit of luck is lingering around for us. Nope!
Not over by a long stretch and if Colchester play like this every week and are 5th then we can at least hope that it won' take a lot to get ourselves up there.
Agree that Richards' injury pre game was kind of a blessing as Crazy works better in the hold up role. He needs someone like Alzate to lay off to for the long range efforts and then pick up the scraps after.
Plenty to go yet.

Pretty sure that was Lancashire allowing Nouble to walk around him in the box. Not as bad as last week but there is nothing going forward. Contained them but clearly we don’t have the players to sustain that.

Very frustrating, perversely might do us a favour in that we should see some attacking substitutions much sooner than we may otherwise have.
Not much happened at all really other than the injury and the goal.

Another game, another experiment. It cannot help the players having to constantly think about where they need to be, who does what etc. We know footballers need a simple plan.

If you think Brown keeping his job relies on beating the team with the best home record in the division then you're worse than I thought. Might as well have sacked him after Notts County if that's your thinking. Anyways, hopefully we find a way to get back into this game. |
