Superb. I was at Norwich and Carlisle, those bits made the hairs on my arms stand up. Fantastic memories. Cheers Rich and Charlie.

I love the detail he recollects things with - it's brilliant and clearly lived every minute.

Some guests get some questions in advance to give them an idea of what to think about (it turns into one long riff most of the time)

Charlie received zero prep.

One recommendation, but in whole generally brilliant, is put an offensive language disclaimer, at the beginning.

That would save complaints and make it more family friendly?

Bollocks Wink tbf it's a football podcast made by fans, not the Infinite Monkey Cage or the Moneybox podcast. I wouldn't expect it to be "family friendly"

That's okay. I did a warning before the Byrne episode.

All have the explicit warning attached even when they dont but in the future I'll give listeners a verbal heads up.

Or a load of verbals Smiley I think I'm going to start complaining if there are episodes without any swearing in

It doesn't  bother me, it's just some might complain. Any reason for people to moan then they will. Just my opinion that's all. Cunts.

If you're going to use that kind of language in your posts, I think you should put up a disclaimer first Smiley

One thing I've experienced today due to being tagged into them is the ampint negative messages he/footballers get.

My skin is not thick enough for that world.

Have to agree. Don't normally get time to listen, but tried Welland and Austin this week. Excellent podcast, interesting guests, who both came across well. Really enjoyed both. Thank you very, very much! 😎

Massive thank you Rich for getting me through the pre-season with all of the pods. I can’t believe I haven’t got tired of Ben’s voice yet!

Top credit for the Austin episode and letting him detail out how he left etc. I was waiting for the ‘will you finish your career back here’ question so was disappointed that never came up. Will have to get his agent to start persuading him back!
