That's what I reckon. Butland to Chelsea?

After watching the Charity Shield I would say Man City! but yes if Courois leaves that will make a domino effect in the transfer market I think.

not sure if a lot of Town fans will ever accept him even if he came in and was star man all season TBH.
Same for all the other clubs he's played for then?

I know there is a lot of fuss around McCormack, and fans are understandably divided on the ethics of it all, but he is a good goalkeeper.
I think this is the point. Did Oxford fans have a similar reaction when you signed him, and did they get over it?

Yes and yes/no. It's the same everywhere.

Understandably so, Nile Ranger is a little like that (although in some ways worse, certainly more consistantly a twat), good player but a fucking liability off the pitch and hated by many.

One thing for sure, is that LV will get a thorough examination of his mental strength at Sincil Bank.

Yes RCC took an absolute battering last season, especially from Rhead who is a lump of a thug. On the goalkeeper thread, apparently Vickers, the Lincoln goalie was man of the match against Northampton, Cobblers having 15 shots to Lincolns 4, with 8 on target for them.

He will and any mental strength issues he has in goal, he will have to sort out quickly. A consistency like that on a regular basis and McCormick will be No.1.

I was at the game. It wasn't just the [usual] physical stuff dished out by Rhead. There was also a lot of verbals and gestures he aimed at RCC, mostly after the incident where Rhead hassled RCC, preventing him from making a clearance kick - for which the weak referee penalised RCC for time wasting ang gave Lincoln a free kick inside our area. Rhead's antics that day were particularly shitty. If he gets game time on Saturday and adopts similar tactics, I'm not sure that LV is 'smart' enough to ignore it.

He’s not played at ‘our’ standard for a while now, harsh to judge one game in.
Can’t be making mistakes like that every game
Happened too many times, does make some good saves, but I'm not a Vigouroux fan.

Vig impressed me in so far as he seemed more confident for 50 minutes or so in claiming things. He fell to pieces after the mistake though, lost control of the box, his kicking was awful, for about 20 minutes or so. That worries me more than the mistake itself.

He does seem to be quite a volatile character, which isn't always the best attribute for a keeper. The thing is he has the ability to be at a much higher level, those character flaws are the reason he's playing in League 2
