Can't make it unfortunately, but enthused nonetheless.

Hope the majority go home happy.

Enjoy.

 Shocked

It should be hot for the first home game and that looks very likely.... the hottest I recall was v Wendies in the Mooney season. OK we lost that game, but you could see Kingy had put together a very tidy side. It would be good to be similarly enthused later.

PB seems enthused....

Am going 3.1 town. More hope than certainty.
Any scoreline that gets 3 pts will do  Pint

Looking forward to enjoying watching a game, past couple of seasons have dulled that feeling.

2-0 to Swindon, looking forward to the first game of the season, hoping the holiday traffic isn't too busy on the A34 later.

1-0 Macclesfield. They seem to be a bit of a bogey side for us

2-0 win today. Doughty (pen) and Matt Taylor

Going to a family BBQ in Kent where I expect phone signal to be ropey as hell. Have to sneak inside to get some trusty WiFi to check our progress.

It’s always sunny on the first day of the football season.

I remember son getting sunburnt at Barnsley when King was manager. Weather was great we weren’t.

Hoping for a win today, but as Reg says it’s more about seeing that we have a team with some promise.

I picked Barnsley for promotion after that game, all the hallmarks of a good side.  They won the playoffs.

I've got 2 separate bets on, both Doughty to score first, as with BO I think we'll get a pen.

I think we are still a CB and Striker away from a decent side, I would like to think we have enough to beat these but they have momentum behind them as Lincoln did last season, they have the neucleus of the same side with a lot of new signings added too, genuinely could go either way.

First day nerves 2-1 defeat in front of 6,321 with 138 from Macc with McGlashan scoring.

Looking forward to it, optimistically think it will be a comfortable 2-0 (Dave & Anderson) win

Just went to put the FL highlight programme thing on series link but it doesn’t seem to be on C5 this year? Any idea what’s going on?

Cheers, never heard of it but have it thankfully.

Viewing figures will be non existant, not a great commercial decision from the FL
