They remind me of us from a few seasons back, trying to play out from the back without the personnel with the footballing ability to actually do so! I am tempted to have a tickle for a draw at 25/1 as Russia look equally shit and won't be able to keep up the pressing for the whole game, plus the Saudi's cannot be that shit in the second half. |

Early on I thought the Saudis could at least draw, right up to the 2nd goal!
Why the hell they did not play the ball on the ground to a pacey striker at every opportunity when he was up against a 6 foot 2 very near 39 year old with the pace of a slow puncture and turning circle of the QE2 is beyond me.
Russia very deserved winner and this could well give them the momentum now to have a good tournament.
