I just noticed, probably a bit slowly, but that every team promoted from L1 to the Championship were relegated from the Championship last season.

Not sure if thats ever happened before with 3 up 3 down?

Im not sure that’s right...

It is.  At the time I thought that it is an indicator of the growing divide between Div 3 and the Championship, however Millwall, did pretty well on getting promoted, which undermines the theory.

Surely it should read ".....were relegated from the Championship the previous season".

Relegated from the Championship last season were Barnsley, Burton & Sunderland
