Absolute blizzard down here in Essex at the moment. Looking forward to this - few us heading up on the pop. Lovely city.

It’ll get abandonded at half time.

If it doesn’t, 1-1. Richards to score. 550 Town fans.

What's "the pop" out of interest?
Can't see the new goalie keeping his place after last week.

Think a draw would be a result but would settle for a win !!.       C'mon Town let's turn this around.

Pre match seat of learning in The Regal.
Place is full of inactive Soviet era sleeper cells.
Nervous agents.

First visit in 86, the coach driver proudly pulled up outside the stadium. Job done.
It was Cambridge City's ground.

Remember the glorious FA Cup win here in the early 90's.
Calderwood scored when concussed.

Also seem to recall approaching the ground across common land and having to dodge the cow pats.

So, wish Phil luck today.
He has a brief time to make some history and get us out of this black hole.
Concentrate on the cause of our principle uncertainty, the defence, and we may yet make top 7.

And it's bloody cold here.

Cambridge have only lost 1 game in the last 7 and that was away at leaders Accrington, they are good at home with just 3 defeats suffered against Newport, Wycombe and Carlisle, their last home defeat was back in December.

Their home form is DWWWLWWDWLWWLDDWWD pretty impressive stuff.

I think with our injuries and suspension of Banks I cannot see past a 2-1 defeat, Richards scoring and 425 town fans in a crowd of 4,036.

We travel over England
And one day Europe too

Cos we all follow the Swindon
We're the famous Town End crew.

Classic result during the Beck-Hoddle footy ideology cold war.

Can see only a make-do-and-mend approach until Banks gets back, so a draw today would be good.

Lets hope the team put more effort into the performance than you did on this shoddy matchday thread
