Getting later and later these threads - used to be as soon after midnight as possible.

We’re gunna give them a whuppin’ I tells ya - a whuppin’.

Failing that, it’ll be a one goal nail biter. 7102 with 685 striking miners.

Would have been another striking miner in the DR with me but he’s cried off at the last minute after pledging that he’d come down when we were walking away from their place in October.

Mansfield on a 9 game unbeaten run in the league and only 1 defeat in 18 league games since we beat them up there in October.

I can't see there being more than 6,500 today with about 450 away fans as they don't ever bring many to the CG (their average following of 650 has been boosted massively by local away games at Notts County & Chesterfield).

We should be getting better results at home but they are a form side with 1 less defeat on their travels than we have got.

Although the stats over history seem to give us the edge at the CG with us winning 15 of the 21 games played here and the Stags winning just 3, the haven't won here since 1977 and we have won 8 of the 9 following matches at the CG its going to be tough.

2-1 defeat.

6200 and taking the game in isolation would take a score draw.

Feel we need 3 to get the autos back on track though, sure there are plenty of games left but there are so many teams in it I can't see everyone being inconsistent until the end of the season. Therefore neither can we be.

As far as autos go, 4 points from the next 2 a bare minimum, anything less and we  Bye

Cambridge did us a favour last night, holding back the Impmen to 0-0. I have a feeling we'll be the ones to sneak it today and probably be our to turn have the share of controversial/dubious decision go in our favour. Much to Mansfield's dismay.

Town 2-1 Stags
Booked: Keshi
Att: 7012
Goals: Banks, Mayonnaise (winner)

However Kevin Friend is the ref...

Not sure he is worse than the utter garbage ref we had on Tuesday at Accrington though TBF.

...or the Lincoln match too. I'm thinking the weather conditions could work in our favour today.

That shit ref Tuesday night was local to Accrington neither penalties were penalties - missed a hand ball by an Accrington defender in his own box & no way did Gordon punch their player. The ref every game he has been in charge there has been controversy absolutely shockingly poor ref and a homer fucking disgrace.

Worst ref I have ever seen.

The weather will contribute today to the result, lets hope it helps us rather than hinders us.

I think for me thats currently our best line up other than I would play Woolery instead of Norris as I think his pace is a better attribute in the side.

Lancashire must have an injury as hes been an ever present, although he always looks likely to make a huge fuck up in each game at one point or another.

Completely agree with the above statement. I've been rubbing the crystal ball and I can't see a massive victory for the town today. 1-0 late goal for us me's going for.
