Couldn't see one so thought I'd start it - apologies if I have gone above my station

I'm travelling up for this one.
Just phoned the club, they say it didn't freeze overnight, and they are confident that the game will go ahead - but it's the referees decision. They desperately want it to go ahead, as they want to go second, and have covered the pitch.

Anyone else going up ?

Will take a point.

Would take a draw, but fancy us. They've gone 2-0 at home in consecutive weeks, to come back and win 3-2, so they're vulnerable.

Two long trips in a few days... Hopefully won't take it's toll. I would definitely take a point but hopeful we can bring our performance from Saturday and get a good win.

I think we'll lose though, 2-1 Stanley.

They begged/borrowed/stole extra covers to try and get the game on. It's been snowing up here all morning but has now stopped out on the Fylde so shouldn't be too much more of the white stuff. Hopefully it'll go ahead.

They are pretty good at home with only Luton, Grimsby and Crawley winning up there in the league with them winning 14 of those games.

They are be far better playing in the 2nd half of matches with 31 of their goals coming in the 2nd period of games and only 20 in the 1st half. Compared to our 23 1st half goals and 24 2nd half goals. Thats usually a sign of teams with better fitness, our players could well be a little tired after our near victory at Lincoln with 10 men.

Its going to be a massively difficult game with them sat directly above us in 5th place 1 point better off but with them having a much better goal difference of +15 to our +5.

We have won the last 3 meetings between the clubs 2-0 each time with us unbeaten in the last 4 games with them.

Current form for Accrington is dwllllwwwwlw and Swindon llwlwwwlwwd.
Accrington home form is wdwlwww scoring 18 conceding 13 with our away form wlwwlwd scoring 13 conceding 10.

Difficult game to say the least, on a cold Tuesday away game in front of a tiny attendance of probably under 1500 fans on a pitch that looks awful and cuts up a lot.

A draw would be a good result but its going to be tough.

At least put it in the right section. Moved and renamed.

Snowing all day so far apparently although not heavily, Accrington Stanley have said they see the game being on but its obviously at the refs discretion.

From the Accrington forum....

Quote
Stopped snowing now

We have to wait for the referee decision and what time he arrives is questionable as the ref. was supposed to be Eddie Ilderton and for some reason he has cancelled but no replacement has been made

Accrington aren't bad at home and have been scoring for fun recently. I'd take another 2-2 draw.
