So what game was the writer of the 3rd comment watching? Some people are never prepared to give credit when it's due!
Yep some fans of teams cannot see past their own noses.

We won't come up against a more physical side that batter you on the pitch and that hoof the ball into the box at every opportunity than Lincoln, they don't play pretty but we didn't defend pretty today either!

It felt like a cup game with backs to the wall looking for that win, which we so nearly got, still not convinced it wasn't a foul on RCC but will have to see a replay and of the red card which some fans say looked weak but I just saw a foul again from Preston.

2nd time he has done that in 3 games, although I thought he could have let RCC try and save it when Green was clean through, it was at a slight angle and not easy to score from..

We were "resolute" for more than 50 mins surely?

I just meant in the sense of after going to 1-2 so from 40mins we were resolute up until the last couple of corners. Arguably Bostwick probably shouldn't have been on the pitch. There did seem to be a foul on RCC, he maybe should've gone for a punch instead of a claim. That's all hindsight though and it's pretty unfortunate but tbf the lads deserve credit today. Fine margins; Elsnik other side of the bar and it's a win for us. They really did not offer very much. Ourselves yeah, certainly resolute. There seems a real work effort amongst the lads. They might be down about it right now, but it's on to Tuesday and there is no reason why we can't go there and get a result.

Always a rollercoaster!

Was there another error from RCC after the equaliser? My friend who was there just messaged me and said he nearly cost us the game and is not good enough?
Not that I remember, your friend probably means the goal itself.

I didn't go today but it seemed like a cracking performance from reading the game on here.
Sounds like a few players really put their hands up today.

Turning point maybe ??

Really looking forward to Tuesday now

Mayo on
Very assured debut, very impressed, stood up face to face with Bostwick and he is a fucking lump of a man and Mayo didn't back down. Got his foot in many times and tackled and passed well, like a player who has 300 games behind him rather than 3 games.

He has the physique of Jon Gittens.

Totally agree. Very impressed. On that showing really surprised he’s not in rovers first team squad.

I would of taken a point at 2pm and feared the worst at 21 minutes...but what a superb display.

Seen the clips.

Defo pen for me and a red card as last man.

Thought Cooke was hit, the radio made it sound a bigger gaffe than it was...his mistake was he didnt punch or tip it over.

Imps missed a few chances so I'm happy enough.

Thought a last man foul had to be intentional for it to be a red?

Spot on. Very composed and has more mobility than our other central defenders. Thought whole team showed great character. Banks and Elsnik are quality players and real shame about RCC's error which he has apologised for on Twitter. Looked like a promotion team today and much better than Lincoln. Really enjoyed the game,  their fans showed how to support a team for 90 mins at home. Imagine if we'd been two one down playing against 10 men at the CG, the moaning would have been at a new level!  Very proud of the team today and our away support, applauding players off , which was totally deserved.

Yeah it does, so double jeopardy comes in to play here. Seems the ref has forgotten that rule. Then again he may as well have been from Spalding or Gainsborough. Awful ref.

It looked nothing more than a tangle as their player slowed down and Preston continued running. If we don't appeal it then that's silly. If that gets looked at by a panel then I'm certain they'll overturn it. Obviously that's only my opinion but looking at it says to me it was a yellow, with a penalty given.

Stop it on 3 seconds. Think the player goes to shoot and they get tangled.
There's no "intentional" foul. I stand by it. Yellow card and penalty.
I hope we appeal the straight red. Ref has forgotten the new rules.

Worked really hard today. The players deserve a lot of credit. Richards just kept going up there on his own, but all the outfield players should be praised, too. Bring on Tuesday.

Proud town fan tonight.

This group will fight for everything, they may lack a bit of quality at times but they were fucking brilliant today.

First half we were all over them even with 10 men( not a deliberate foul, so not a red card? Red forgot the rules?!)

2nd half we sat back and dealt with everything they threw until the final minute. Even so, that's a brilliant point and everyone would have taken a point 1-0 down and down to 10.

Time for more beers.  Pint COYR

Shame we couldn't hold on but fair play. Probably would have been 4 or 5 if last seasons players were out there in those circumstances.
