Going well

GOAL: BRISTOL ROVERS 4 (Romanski OG 58) SWINDON TOWN 0

The ball pings around the Town box, Romanski loops a header backwards but Matthews can’t prevent it dropping under the bar #stfc

I thought Oulridge was with Forest Green - thought he was on their bench previously

Tommy Ouldridge has recently been on loan to Cirencester Town - think he may still be there, but was allowed to play in this Development game (clearly).

You may be thinking of Jordan Simpson (Fitzroy's son), who joined Forest Green in the summer on a 2 year deal. When town beat FGR last week, Simpson could be seen running up and down the county ground pitch at full time - must have been an unused sub?

Rovers played quite a strong team against out "boys".

The Thompson Twins must be the last kids to come through "development" football and make it to the first team. They would have been recruited under the previous regime.

Poor Louis, looked a very good player... he's now been out so long that it must be questionable if he'll make it back.

yeah, not great that he suffered two serious Achilles injuries and may miss most of this season.

But he is only 23, he has time on his side
