I don't know what Game of Thrones is.... beyond it being a thing. I suppose I don't want to know. However, a couple of times recently, I've come across the phrase " it's a zero sum game" Now I've tried to figure this out, without success, anyone help  As for work, a good idea as long as you don't let it steal your soul. |

A zero sum game is one where the winner can only win if someone else loses and the wins and losses add up to zero. ie Poker. If you win the pot of £30 you are taking £30 from the other players, ie the wins and losses are equalised.

Cheers. But why don't you have to contribute to the pot. It seems a funny game whereby you don't have to put in then clean out the others who have. A metaphor for neoliberal capitalism perhaps. |
