Given that so many new players are having to be integrated, it hints that there could be at least be a competent Div 4 side, in the making.

Indeed, this time last season we did lose to Woking, 3-1. Winning can be a habit but as you state pre season friendlies don't mean much really. |

Not a great showing. Especially poor first half with a reluctance to shoot. Second half was a lot better and more positive. Brophy may prove to be an asset at this level.

I don't think we should expect too much too soon... but on the back of the last couple of seasons we've sunk so low, that it will be baby steps in terms of correction. So firstly, a need to look at least competent, in the basics of Div 4 football. I think Flitcroft definitely gets that. |
