Perfection is not attainable

Not even going to give him a chance whatsoever?

Sadly this will be the same mindset of many so whomever takes over will be on a hiding to nothing.

All I really remember about Adi's Swindon career was his debut against Middlesborough a few days before his 21st birthday.

Coming on and playing left wing/midfield a role totally unsuited to him, and being a sub that was subbed after just 20 mins in a poor 3-1 home defeat.

I remember that game, felt really sorry for him being subbed after coming on as a sub.

Not sure he touched the ball once but I do remember Stuart Ripley flying past him a few times down the wing and Viveash pulling his shirt back and getting nowhere near Ripley when he had the ball.

Looking increasingly likely that Adi will be coming here. Call me a fucking optimist but i'm a little bit excited....purely because he HAS to be better than LW. Doesn't he?  Crying Crying

Agreed. I spent all morning feeling quite optimistic - excited, even.
Then the realisation that nothing is going to change.

They are, but in league two, you need experience and not youth, this just tells me that we will be Chelsea under 23's next season again, so in that sense nothing will have changed.

Would love to be proven wrong though

you are probably right, but it's not inconceivable he'll tweak it with a few more older heads brought into the team.

even if it's just for a season.

that's if AV even ends up here

The amount of people that complain because he has no experience, but then get all defensive when someone points out that neither did Macari, Ardilles, Hoddle & Di Canio when they took the job.

Everyone has to start somewhere, and Division 4 is as good a place as any.

He might be shit, or he might be really good & fuck off somewhere bigger in a season or two (hopefully after getting us promoted).

The point is all the doom mongers saying its going to be shit really have no idea.
It's just as pointless as suggesting he is the second coming of the Messiah & we will be Champions League winners in 6 years
