migs was like a much better Colkett when he was fit. which was close to never.

Roberts would walk into this team on ability, if it weren't for the drink. Fallon and even gurney would be an improvement on Noris/Gladwin

Was a huge fan of Migs and Roberts but that team is grim, a side with Trevor Benjamin and Andy Nicholas winning the league, are you on drugs?

And yes I go to games

Also, don't mean to be dickish but look out for the ]s in your posts. Quotes should end with a [/quote ], if not your comment gets added to it and it's harder to read. Just a heads up!

Sorry about the posts merging but i'm not an expert and can't seem to stop lt.
As for the drugs, never ever unless you count alcohol,it was a bit tongue in cheek but that squad was a bit like this one the man in charge didn't have a clue what he was doing.

Like I said I wasn't trying to be an arse about it, it just makes it easier to read if you check it that's all. If I can do it anyone can  Yes

I've also just realised I still have the print of that team photo (I say team, anyone who walked past apparently). Sandy, what a legend.

Sad reflection of our support, isn't it? Reg Smeeton must be inconsolable.

As for Benjamin he played 5 full games and 3 sub and got 2 goals. The defence that year was light years ahead of this apart from Vigs (and he's had his moments)

We all saw enough of Jerel Ifil to know what he was about. He obviously had his plus points and negative points but he'd get into this side wouldn't he?

Millwall playing compacting knowing we'd likely go for broke in the last ten, (whilst our tactical geniuses headbutted the panic button).
Delighted we won, shame Thomas scored though as he was poo on the ball (but on reflection appeared to offer decent shape when we had no possession).
Thought Colkett was trying to play at a different pace to the rest of the team but he passes appeared very forced and usually poo

Millwall were shit. That was the least I've ever celebrated a last minute winner ever, because I fully expect us to still go down. But it keeps a tiny bit of hope/faith/delusional

Good win, but sentiments similar to this. I didn't even realised we kicked off early (why?!) and laughed when we won.

Go on Town, surprise me.

Don't be fucking stupid. Colin Heath was one of the worst players I've ever seen play for us, especially for a so called Man United loanee, We also had Patrick Collins at the back who was utterly inept. Rhys Evans was a terrible keeper who couldn't kick (some bollocks about 1 leg being longer than the other). We had players like Aaron Brown and Cureton who didn't give a fuck and the less said about Tony Thorpe the better. Then you had Ricky Shakes who was better at dancing than he was at football. Add in the likes of Trevor Benjamin, Chris McPhee, walking pace Whalley and Albert Jarrett and you create a truly awful footballing monstrosity. The 7-1 defeat at Forest was a total humiliation!
