Anyone remember this from Channel 4? James Richardson eating massive ice creams whilst translating stories from Gazetta Della Sport?

Well, its back! On Bravo this evening at 7pm, anyone see it? Reggina play on the worst surface I have ever seen!  :?

Big fan of Italian football.... always watched Gazetta and thought JR probably had the best job in the world,.used to be fun when Gazza  was at Lazio....Eurosport seems to have lost its Italian contract, so I'm guessing I wont be getting my fix next season.

Glad to see Gazzetta back - Top show.  Yes I did see it tonight, that surface at Reggina is is un fucking believable.  They should be seriously fined for that.

Reg - If you can get Eurosport, surely you can get Bravo?

Bravo also show quite a bit of South American football, such as the Brazil v Chile World Cup qualifier this weekend.

Yeah Footy Italia was good on Eurosport but the picture quality on Bravo is wank, the only good thing about it is the Old School music(channel4 days) at the start. Wink

Used to like watching that Sunday lunchtime/afternoons.

Still remember George Weah's goal for Milan in 96 when he ran almost the length of the field with the ball before scoring.

I bloody loved getting up on a Saturday morning watching Gazzetta then going off to play footie.

Reg you're right JR did have the best job in the world, sat down at a table on a busy Milanese street, eyeing up the totty (not Francesco) talk about the weeks newspapers, then go off and interview some legend!! What a life!

Wasn't the first match they ever covered a 4-3 thriller at Samp?  I much prefer Serie A to the premiership.
