Northampton get a million+ for Charlie Goode.

[Obvious pun] bit of business for them. Especially at this time.
Thats a lot of money for a L2 centre back, he looke dok in the play offs but not worth that much, Doyle gave him the runaround in the game at Sixfields too he was all over the place.

Hes a big unit though at 6 foot 5 but looked rubbish on the deck.

Brentford must have seen something in him to fork out that amount, it also weakens Northampton who only have 1 senior centre back now.

I am beginning to wonder if there is something (either with him or the money/deal that Derby are looking for which is putting clubs off, lots of apparent interest but it never goes anywhere. Its getting like bloody Koulibaly from Napoli, who appears to be mentioned in the BBC transfer gossip page daily for about 3 years now!

He suffered a nasty ankle injury earlier int he season that kept him out far longer than it should have, he has a recurrance of it in July but not as bad, maybe thats putting clubs off? making sure hes fully over it.

He has been linked with so many clubs in the last year, Italian, German and Spanish clubs as well as a host of Premier League clubs such as Burnley, Spurs, Brighton, West Ham and others.

I have a feeling that nothing will happen this transfer window with him.

Also money wise, there was beter value in the market. For example, Antonee Robinson is moving for £2m this summer. Granted, it's a firesale at Wigan but even in January the price quoted was £5m. Derby seem to want silly money for Bogle.

Maybe so but Derby don't need to sell him, so in part it's a good way of keeping a player that you value. Could be seen as counter productive but with all the interest in the world, if the player is happy at the club and are paying him well then a higher than market price tag is a decent strategy. If someone then does come along and offer close to it, maybe Derby will sit up and listen?

Maybe there is something like a decent percentage in the signing on fees going to the agent so said agent constantly touts the clubs and major media outlets to try and generate some traction in a move.

That's my eggs and bacon on the matter but of course, could be all soda bread.

I'm hearing Chang Utd have offered Aubemeyang a five year deal that is made up, of purely fish scraps, a free island and a case of Dr. Pepper. Chang Utd CEO, Dr. Pierre Chang had this to say on the emerging matter;

"We believe this to be the offer of a lifetime that cannot be matched by anyone else. I really like Aubemeyang, the main reason I wanted to sign him was due to sharing the same name as me. I'm certain he will sign based off this alone. He can even share my underground bunker! We'd be roomies and everyfing!"

Aubemeyang was unavailable to comment, adding to the mystery that he may having gone missing, L O S T or even presumed dead.

Is he related to the old West Ham player, Paul Brush?

I expect he’ll mop up at the back, though.

Is he a sweeper?

In fairness, I don't think Peterborough have been that prolific in the market this summer.

If they sell that Toney for the fees that have been banded around then they can afford to do what they like to be fair.
