West Ham prepared to offer £10m for him too apparently.

Bring on a bidding war, I say.

Around £10m. We have, I believe, a 20% sell on clause = £2m (also known as Doyle/Yates money)

Palace also interested in him, apparently he has a buy out clause of £8m according to the Telegraph so it may not be a bidding war after all, that will be the fee.

A minimum clause doesn't mean it wont be more. I sound like an expert but I'm winging it.

Offering more than a minimum release fee would give them no benefit as he will be allowed to speak to any club that matches that figure.

It will come down to location, chance of avoiding relegation and wages I would think.

Saying that, the comment about him having a minimum release fee was in the Telegraph so it could be shit.

Burnley, Bournemouth and apparently.....AC Milan all interested too.
