Strong beers are usually fucking rank.

I recommend a weekend in Brugges, or any other Belgian city really, as a remedy to your current opinion.

I would concur that recommendation to anyone that likes beer of any strength.

No mate you are thinking of the Guiness Foreign Extra 7.5% 330ml. I like that put in a pint glass and topped up with Port....mmm Smiley

I'll be trying some of that.

Its a heavy winter drink but the flavours compliment each other perfectly.

I'll wait for a dark, cold evening and have it when I'm watching the New York Jets. Can't do that sober anyway.

FA Cup 2nd round weekend should be free, so it's a couple of days in Brussels for me.

I'm going out in Bath later for beers. 43 next week. Eek.
I like the last train back, its a happy train.
We are starting a bit early to compensate for the early last train time, thanks early Bolton kickoff.

Indeed, and 99% of the time beer is vastly better than early KO's in football.

A taxi (booked from Swindon) works out about £50, which isn't too unreasonable if split 4 ways. I've done that a few times
