TONIGHT'S OFFICIAL ATTENDANCE - 2,698 (533 Away Fans)

The unofficial attendance looked to be more than that.

So are we through to the next round then? Not sure about the other results in our group.

Also I know a few have taken the piss but I was glad to see the players happy about beating Oxford. I don't care what competition it is we should always be happy about beating them.

Depends if you count the game in 1955 vs Headington United as there was a smaller crowd that day.

Indeed we beat Headington 1-0 in a friendly in front of 1786.....Maurice Owen got the winner

They were amateurs then, whereas, oh, good point, well made.

We can say it was comfortably the lowest since they became the O*ford scum.

just saw the pen shootout. Some genuinely good saves from Henry, really pleaded for him. Hope he gets the chance to shine for us when vigs moves on...

I said t'other day that Henry is probably the only player we have atm, who might be worth a fee....I could see a bigger club thinking he could be worth spending a bit of loose change on.....in the same sort of way as a Jamie Stephens.

2 positives to take:
1) It's effectively a win against our rivals, should give a feel good factor & give confidence to the squad
2) Tommy Smith should be stronger contention to play, this kid has something about him & has been at SN1 since U8's. It means something to him to be playing for us.

I still don't count it as anything, but it's nice to see some of their fans getting wound up on social media.

Agree re Tommy. Whenever he's played seems to do well plus he scored what I think was a winner in one game..memory fails me. Not sure what he did wrong not to be progressed from there ?

It seems that we now have 3 players vying for the defensive midfield role, Kasim, Thomas and Smith.

I would give Smith some more game time definately as Kasim seems to have gone off the boil recently making a few mistakes and rash challenges at Shrewsbury and the 2 games previously too.
