Off to Bath tomorrow for a few drinks and was wondering where the best place to watch the footy would be. It must be close to the train station as we are arriving only about 5-10 min before kick off.

Twerton Park?  Although Odd Down in the Western League, would carry a certain Paul Scholes style kudos.

Most of the bars nearest the station at cocktail type affairs that wouldn't have the football on. Flan O'Brien's is probably on the edge of your 5 minute walk radius but would serve your purposes nicely.

The great Flan O'Brien aka Brian O'Nolan aka Myles na Gopaleen.

Brazil?  It was about the only decent game of that tournament.

If you like a proper boozer then it has to be the Trinity highly recommended for all sorts of reasons and not more than 10 minutes from the station - opposite the Odeon  Pint
