Bad news for Taylor, after just establishing himself in the Test side, but it is better the medical staff found it out now, than Taylor collapsing on the field.

Real shame but thank god they found out now. A really underrated player, and a cracking fielder (for a bona fide midget).

In terms of his Test spot, which was far from nailed on, I suspect that's now up for grabs with Ballance, Vince and maybe even Jason Roy (a middle order bat, with a poor average, in proper cricket) in the mix.
