Hello friends. My car has developed an interesting new trick and Google doesn't seem to shed any light.
Whenever I flick the lever up to indicate right, it flashes/ticks right once or twice, then starts indicating left instead! Really bizarre. Whenever I indicate left purposely it behaves as it should. If I just ease the lever up and hold my fingers under it to keep the pressure on, it indicates right as normal.
Any ideas?!

Steering column wiring loom fault?
Is it French, I think these things are standard features on French cars. And Alphas.

Similarly if it is a Ford then an earth fault always tended to be fitted as standard!

It seems to have resolved itself which leads me to believe Reg was correct.
Carry on.
