Has to be relapse of depression, all the best to him in his recovery.
Leads us to a very difficult situation. Not sure if there is anyone to employ out there. Could give Williams the job if he wants it.

Awful shame but credit to him for recognising the signs. All the best Lingy.

Sadly for him this probably spells the end of his management career. Can't see him getting another chance. Hopefully he should still find work in football though.

He gave it a go, thought he might be alright.. clearly he wasn't.
If we do manage to stay up this season (we should) then Lingy has played a significant part towards that.
Can't see him wanting to manage again. Club would not be willing to take the risk to employ him. First off hope he recovers well in the private world.

Everyone seems to be assuming it's a relapse into depression but could be anything, the sudden nature is what concerns me.

Terrible news for the guy, whatever the situation.
On the pitch, we've gone from relegation to mid-table fodder during his short time, and I'm grateful for it.
With Lee Power appointing whathisface to govern the day-to-day, I don't expect a the pre-Ling series of events to repeat itself.
Best of luck Lingy.

How sad for Martin
Depression is such an awful disease - until a family member was diagnosed, I thought it was a load of bollocks. Now that outward person is so fragile and even scared to go out.
It will not be a speedy recovery, so just all the best dear fellow, and I'm sure you will get support from family and those in the industry and our club.
