Hi all,

Anyone here use an e-cig?

Slight problem with mine... I use a Totally Wicked Curve 2 battery and an Aspire Mini Nautilus, every now and then when I go to take a drag, I fire it up and it makes a crackle sound, followed by a tiny little bit of the liquid onto my tongue. It's not a huge issue as I only use a low strength, but I wondered if it was normal for this to happen when you're using your e-cig at a higher wattage?

A cigarette with a tech spec, what an age we live in

All I had when I smoked was high or low tar.

Kids nowadays, you don't know you're born.

I get the crackling thing, never really thought of it as a problem TBH.

The liquid thing I used to get. Think it was because I wasn't inhaling the entire contents of the mouthpiece when taking a drag. Therefore a little bit of residue would build up after every drag, resulting in eventually tasting a few drops of the stuff. Not nice

Makes sense, thanks.

The symptoms are common, the atomiser is getting flooded. Either not enough wicking material (although Aspire are a good make) or the liquid is too thin. Liquid is a mixture of PG and VG. Too much PG in the mix and it's thinner. I gave up on big tanks and use a cheap pen when I'm out and a RDA (dripper) when I'm in.

It's quite easy to overfill the nautilus mini, which could result in drawing liquid.

With no courtesy email to the poster to say why & where it had been merged? Frankly,  customer service on the site is shocking.

Poor customer service? Have you tried asking for a refund on your purchase?

Oh, wait!

On behalf of the highly paid staff here on TheTownEnd.com, please accept our sincere apologies. Clearly in this instance we have failed to reflect the customer service levels we've always prided ourselves upon and we've again let the the members of this site down.

By default thread starters are meant to be notified of any "thread merging" and sadly this appears to not be happening.

After a long and complicated investigation, it transpired that the person who built the server purposely failed to configure anything remotely approaching a proper mailing facility, because he "doesn't give a fuck".

Clearly this matter is now resolved to our satisfaction. If however your feel displeased with our indifference, please send a private message to the head of our complaints department Sue Spacey.
