Yeah, I do realise that was why. It bothered me because it used to make me sweat just watching him running around on hot days with them on.

Oh yeah, you're right. I think I probably read it was because of a skin condition on here. I should probably stop getting all my facts from here really, I have been awfully confused lately.

There was a referee in the Swindon Sunday League a few years ago who wouldn't allow anybody to wear gloves if they intended taking a throw-in!  On a very cold January morning I can assure you he got a little bit of abuse!
