Just listening to Radio Wiltshire this morning and it would appear that the Swindon Wildcats ice hockey team were winning 8-1, only for it to end up at 8-8 at the end of normal time!!  Apparently - and I have never been to an ice hockey game - if a draw they play a certain set period of extra time and the Wildcats got the crucial ninth goal - and folk moan about our defence!!!

I had forgotten all about Albert Brind until Bruce brought it up, just shows how much he registered with me - and probably the majority of our supporters - after his five minutes of fame in the Oxford Advertiser!  Wonder if he goes in the local pubs and asks "you do know who i am don't you?"!!

High scoring games can be quite common in Hockey but they gave up 7 goals in 7 shots. Almost unheard of! The Wildcats are worse than the Town for dodgy ownership.
