Apparantly Cooper has stuck the knife into the club and LP a few times since he left, radio Notts has a couple of recordings too.

Cooper always came accross like he was put upon and was hard done by in almost every interview I have ever heard, not a massive shock really, I know LP and Cooper didn't see eye to eye to say the least but theres no need for petty digs.

Cooper has now blamed other people for his failures at his 3 past consecutive clubs.

Can't see him having much more success with Eastington Rovers twat of a chairman, I give it a season at most.

He did come across as a bit of a plum. Forest Green had better win the final or he's going to sound a bit silly re the Wembley preparation thing!

What was the tension about?
These things are usually available to listen to after aren't they?

I supported Cooper while he was manager with us but I am no fan of his, and this soured it even more, I won't shed any tears if FGR don't win at Wembley (which I don't think they will).

It did re-enforce what most of us already knew, that chairman of other teams in our league are funding their losses into 7 figures each season. That's fine as long as they are happy to write them off, if not you are just piling up debt for the future & end up in even more trouble. It's just not a very exciting prospect, unless a mega rich Town fan with more money than sense comes along. I wonder how many would swap Power for someone like Duchatelet at Charlton.

There were some good questions posed about finances (just for a change!) when LP starts asking the questioner about his line of work, totally irrelevantly when he asked about publishing full accounts. LP got very very very defensive.
