Not saying u don't mate but there is nothing wrong with wearing the shirt  :-))( *

But being serious, I respect our own shirters. Everyones got the right to wear what they want. So dont take offence. But you ought to know that not everyone has the vision of of football fans being shirt outside jumper, every bit of clubwear you can get your hands on. For me, grown men all wearing the same stuff is a bit sickly sweet and twee. Bit small town, says youve got something to prove as a Swindon fan. Not me, been going for years and always will, dont care what anyone says.

Like I said, its each to their own. But the merchandise argument winds me up. Shirt = £29 1x a season. Ticket = £23 23x a season. Besides which I do buy some shirts and clubwear, but dont wear it to games.

Fair play. Like you said, agree to disagree.

For me supporting a team always has been about shouting and singing your guts out and letting the lads know how much we wanna win.

Trust me, getting the heart pumping and blood flowing is EXACTLY what you need when you have a hangover.  Gets oxygen to the brain and body.

Sweating all the crap out of your body helps alot too.

After a good run i sit in sauna for 20 mins to sweat all the crap out.

Then a cool off swim to finish off and i drink a litre of water.

I fucking love being a shirter - never been to a Swindon game without a replica shirt, and always with a name on the back (apart from my first shirt and goalkeeper top).  It makes me feel part of something.  Plus I like lending my support to one player in particular, usually as I'm either chuffed we've signed them, or feel a bit sorry for them!  (Hence Reeves last year!)   :|

Did I mention I'm also gay?

Last time I bothered getting names on the back of my shirt was ages ago! I had Horlock on the home, Allison on the away and Thorne on the third!! I still wear em with pride at the five a sides!

You've got to wear it backwards to every game when he's on the pitch until he scores.  I am  Cheesy    :|

I haven't got a name for a while, invincibile was the last I think on the dgi top.
I'm going to get one this year though, preferably with a single digit number though! Maybe O'Hanlon, probably Fallon
