Just a problem with written press full stop regardless of story - Radio was probably phoned and told to do the story
Yes, blanket ban, no exceptions it seems. But very petty in this case. It'll be well enough publicised that it doesn't matter in anything other than the principle and complete lack of morality on STFCs part.

Power has made it pretty clear he won't deal with Gary Lawrence under any circumstances which isn't really much of a surprise as Lawrence has always come across as a bit of a cock who has always enjoyed having digs at the club. This whole media issue started back when Morshead was employed by the Adver and leaked the team sheet for the match against Peterborough a few years ago (and they changed their line up) which is probably part of the reason why the other outlets are banned as well. The charity thing is probably a step too far but a blanket ban is a blanket ban I guess....

The Coops to Wendies summer saga didn't help. But, all things considered, the club are 100% wrong in its stance.

You suspect the directive has come down from Power that under no circumstances does anyone allow the written press interviews and poor Tom has to bear the brunt of the press' frustrations when they phone asking for interviews.
But there is no one other than the press moaning taking a stand.
It would be nice to be able to read interviews with the players now and again, and of course it is good for the younger players to gain experience with interviews with the press.

This just makes the club and Lee Power look petty.
Still think the cunt should grow the fuck up and realise that the club needs the local media. Onside.

They allow quite a bit of flannel.

I wouldn't be surprised if the club ban the players from having social media accounts soon

Perhaps a banner, or a flag would help.

Just out of curiosity..... I'd have thought that Darcy would have been covered by insurance?

I don't think they're releasing the extent of his full injuries yet so it could be for anything. Could be for private rehab to get him walking again, machinery etc to help him move at all. There's plenty he'd need unfortunately.

Have blankets been banned? What am I going to drape over the ageing legs in the depths of winter? I've always favoured a Witney blanket, I know upsetting for some as it is from Oxfordshire, but I preferred to see Witney as the birthplace of David Moss. Sadly, Witney blanket making has gone the way of hat making in Luton....

I think you'll find hats are very popular in Luton

Stuff all the squabbling & bullshit, this guy needs as much help as we can give him so let's all dig deep tomorrow & hopefully we can help in some small way. Feel absolutely gutted for him & his family. If anyone wants to show support in any way here's how: pledgie.com/campaigns/30061 or swindonrobins.co/shopdarcyward43 #StayStrongDarcy #DW43

Another non-issue then with the club advertising the collection on the official website and stating that the club will also be donating.
