Cooper pretty much ruled out Ajose. Said that we had been interested, but he's too expensive.
Also hinted we might have to make do with what we've got for a while.

Sounds to me that Jordan Williams is no Jack Stephens in midfield and should be in defence.
Problem is, Branco has been our best CB so far so unless we plump for a back 4, Williams wont play much.
If we are persisting with 352 just to accommodate him it's madness.

I know that, but if you go somewhere and and see someone you know, you're likely to chat with them. Ajose played for bury before joining us so it's reasonable to assume he has friends playing for both teams. He probably doesn't live all that far away either. |
