Just up from the Merlin is the Beefeater, the Grove. They used to do nice food in there, those were the days. |

come to the Merlin anyway its only 1 minute from the Grove bring your Dad. Is it busy on matchdays? He's a bit of a pub gimp really and he meets up with his old work mates who buy the tickets, we always go to this grove place for about 1.30. |

It's only busy when there's a largeish away following, if there's a queue at the front go round the back (where the car park is) and you'll get in no problems.

Yeah, Ive noticed the back doors been open this season.
I thought they had to keep it shut on matchdays by order of Wilts Const, guess they got it overturned so they could open the garden.
