Well, fuck me.

That 30 minutes in the 2nd half was better than  anything we played last season. It was sensational, scintillating and had me shaking my head in disbelief - and so unexpected after a particularly meh 1st half.

Yeah, the usual pissing about should have seen us 3 down by half time but it's a small price to pay to watch stuff like that.

There was a good punch-up with 15 minutes to go down by the CGH, too. Great view from my seat in the Arkells!

I stand by my half time assessment of Byrne. BOO was dodgy too as was NT.

after half time it was a different team, those three impressed massively Smiley

Should have been 3-0 down at half time. Second half was class. Byrne deserves all the plaudits, but obika was outstanding too. Stewart was much improved second half, Williams looked every inch a centre back playing centre mid.

Last two times I've been to a wedding when we've played at home and we've won 5-2 and 4-1!

Well I'd suggest you'd better go to one every week then. With that and Batch's half time gee up, we'll have 100 points by March. If we havent we know who to blame...

Thought Branco had a good, steady game today.  Just as well really because the rest of the defence were pretty meh.

Key thing was saving the peno at 1-0. Had that gone in we MAY have struggled. Cracking result and being able to turn it around  eeks of a top club.

I wonder if anyone who has a theory on MC not being good at tactics has anything relevant to add....

Nice one Town. Now to lock Byrne in a cupboard on every day he's given off until September 1st  Cheesy

Well, everybody moaning around me at half time and probably rightly so!!  Plenty fo skill but no penetration at all, change the system at the start of the second half and we look like fucking Brazil - no I do not know anybody called Brazil!!  When Byrne got his first I would have settled for a point but for 20 minutes we were on fire!  Bit of a delay around the 70th minute and the sting had gone from the game and both sides settled for a 4-1!  We've taken 40 goals out of the team and still scored four!!

I don't think a lot teams will enjoy playing against us due to our sheer energy. If nothing else we look even more mobile this season and seem to have a little more pace in the team.

Without being harsh, as he was great for us at Town but without having Mass in our team we instantly have more pace. Adding Ottewill, Randall, Byrne (in new RF pos.) and Hylton (Baastard getting injured he actually started well). I remember Mass, whilst being technically great, he did lack pace hich often translated as "not interested".

I was moaning and swearing at Byrne first half, as he was shooting weakly from long range and crossing weakly when there were better options. What a change by him second half, never saw that coming, and the sheer energy of the whole team wore Bradford down. !
