Well, you're in luck! A Reddit user recently posted 1000 years of Football Manager simulation. But it's not very good reading for us.

Based on the simulation, Swindon Town completed 27 seasons in the Premier League during that period with one notable finish (2nd place) and no cup final appearances to speak of either.

We were outperformed by teams such as Skelmersdale United, Redditch United, Metropolitan Police and high-flying Bromley (32 Premier League titles). The full data is available here.

On one positive note, our lowly record still bested that of Oxford United.

Dead link for me.

The pedant included quotation marks within the link. Delete them and all is fine.

Are we still playing goal music, and does the bank have a roof?  Huh?

Football won't exist in 200 years, let alone 1000.
Future sport will look like this....
