Really sad news. Whatever you thought of him as a manager he could bloody spot a player. If you only knew him as our manager that photograph of him on the Everton site is a bit of a shock! |

But he gave us the 2003/04 season. One of my favourite failures(!) supporting Swindon - Parkin, Mooney, Fallon, Howard et al

I remember he suffered a heart attack back in 2009 so was on borrowed time a bit.
