Haha, fortunately i don't frequent the Ripley night scene that often.

I'm not originally from the Town and I spend as little time in it as possible.  It's not all bad though and most people are alright.  I also know alfreton isn't innocent for similar traits that that of Ripley, Heanor, langley Mill et al.
