To all the moaning groaning whining people that are allegedly fans .Pleeeeeeeeeaaaaaaasseee stop moaning about stfc coops lee power and everything else . My 1st game 1975 v Sheffield wed same division as now same size crowd .Not masses of progress you may think but I have had some wonderful times with this club if you are real fans you support through thick and thin ( lots of thin too ) .Sky and the prem have destroyed the working mans love for the game ( prawn sarnies and all that ) but at our level of football and size of our club we still have the most important ingredient and that's being a fan of our local club ( and able to get tickets too )So come on people sing chant and support your club over the next few games then at least we can all say we gave it our best and have no regrets .Oh and as for the adver I know you want to sell papers but you really wonder why lee power is pissed ? Seriously if you wrote that type of headline about me I would send Danny dyer around asap ! Oh and Karl club stealing Robinson you would do the same to fuck us up . We didn't break the rules and coops has stfc s interest at heart not yours yo smarmy twat .........

Unbelievable my first game 74/75 against Sheffield Wednesday. 2-1 Swindon Anderson and Eastoe and going 0-1 down. With you all the way. Sadly our support often disappoints me.

Yeah. Fuck these guys.
But saying that. You're only 34 posts into being on the TEF... you have another 200 before you get used to it.
I'm known as Mr Super-Positive and I've only just gotten used to it. But I completely know what you mean. It's called "Support" for a reason. Because you SUPPORT your team, not MOAN at your team.
"Oh, you're into football. Who do you support?" "Nobody. I just moan at Swindon Town's lack of winning every single game ever." "Right... so you're a Swindon fan." "Yeah, I guess I'm a fan. But I'm definitely not a supporter."

Great post pal. Some of the fans having a pop at Cooper need to wind it in. We have a shoestring budget and no one expected anything when we kicked off the season. We have played some great football and enjoyed some brilliant wins. Who in their right man would have continued to risk players when a play off place and a home second leg was guaranteed. Players such as Luango needed a breather and he has had one, consequently he will be refreshed come May 7th. I hope Cooper mixes it again Sunday as the game is not important. Fingers crossed we get a positive result Thursday and receive the backing come the home leg. Cooper and the players deserve this and if we can make Wembley and perform like we can then it could be a perfect season. STID

Yes very silk wooly .Maroon coloured a bit like our rivals at the time Northampton (remember them)? It got shredded outside car window in 1990 last away game v Oldham . I laughed at the time but feel devastated now as it was a first memory and I would treasure it now without a doubt
