Ill give Gurns respect. Gave us some good memories, Goal against Leeds was superb. Ran to celebrate at the other end of the pitch.
Might give a few others a kick up the ass.
Also he doesn't boot the ball up the pitch like Ifil, Smith, Collins, O Hanlon and others.

His passes usually went somewhere though and for a defender he does have a good goal scoring record for town.

HE WAS THE ONE THAT FUCKING STARTED IT!!!!!!!

The cunt thought he was David Beckham for about two years, spraying the ball all across the pitch and finding the stands most of the fucking time.

I won't give him any reception to match my apathetic feeling about his signing.

I'd be happier if he scored none and stuck to his defensive responsibilities :old:  Wink

Yes Barry, looks like we have signed him til Xmas.

I agree with you Reg.  I never minded Gurney and he would often pop up with some valuable goals.  I am fairly pleased he is back and he can definately do a job for us i am sure.

I think we should definately give him a good reception as we would for any new player.  After all what does anyone gain if we give abuse?

We got him on loan then?

To be fair to the bloke, he will be a valuable member of the team, i'm just concerned by the fact he used to like getting carded.

I don't think anyone will abuse him.  I just don't think he'll get as big a reception as a normal new signing.

i think it's a good signing. he shouts on the pitch, and will make people scared to run at us, which is something we could have done for ages! i don't think he'll set the world alight but getting in a different type of player can only be good, instead of the middle of the road namby pamby swines we seem to get.

optimistic about this one!

i also can't see any reason to give him a bit o stick, i just can't believe we got rid of him and not the worst player EVER for town (i despise hewlett and will hunt him down in torquay just to bitchslap him)
