Many years ago, I arrived at work to find the young receptionist crying her eyes out.
I'm not the type to get involved, but thought she must have lost a loved one or something.

Me : are you OK ?
Her : Hysterics
Me (thinking I've made things worse) : can I get you anything ?
Her : more hysterics
Me (thinking Oh shit) Are you sure you don't want to talk about it ?
Her : sob sob sob Take That have split up sob sob"
Me : For Fuck's sake

Didn't have the foresight to tell her you can't have comeback tour if you haven't split up !
