Blackburn away, in the PO semi, was mental and is still probably my best away day ever.
This was one of my all time favourite away days too.

The screamer from stigger from outside the box on the volley right in front of about 5,000 travelling Town fans is something I will never forget.

Almost matched by the Tranmere away game but not quite.

PS Sorry for the video containing Brizzle Red Roger Malone.

Absolute scenes in that away end! Don't know how Shearer's goal was disallowed...

Dave Bamber had a similarly good goal disallowed in the home PO v Wigan.....as did Colin Calderwood v Palace in a home PO, as did Billy Tucker v Wolves in LC semi final.....can you see the pattern?

John Aldridge had a goal disallowed in the home PO semi against Tranmere. Plus did the ball cross the line at Prenton Park or did Fraser keep it out?.

I clearly remember the disallowed Aldridge goal but I have no recollection of any debate about whether the ball did or didn't cross our line at some point in the second leg. I do know it was the most tense game I've ever been to though.

I take it you mean 'no' it didn't cross the line Reg, as opposed to 'no' Fraser didn't keep it out... Hmmm

I think the Palace at home match Play off in 89 Steve White's shot off the bar and down looked in......and I was standing on the South Side . Defo conspiracy!

Watch the 'That's Football' documentary. Better angle there and it didn't go over the line...and Aldridge is a cunt.

Franchise have the easiest run in, imo.

Can't see Preston or Franchise dropping many points.

We'll finish 4th.
