There is no love lost!
I think there might have been a bit of Sunni-Shia going on

Iraq play Japan next...but Iran and Iraq could meet each other in the quarters.

Ah sorry, I thought I heard them say that on the commentary earlier, my bad, but that would be a heated exchange!

Japan or Australia should really win this competition, having watched the game this morning it really is a very low standard.

And hopefully the rest of the players can put on a show tonight on Sky.
I'm sure it'll be mentioned that both players have both scored in the opening games of the Asian Cup...and both got MoM in their respective games.
I didn't see all of the broadcast, but a fair old chunk and didn't hear any mention that 2 of our better boys were away starring in a major international tournament. Did I miss any mention?

Mentioned it right at the end, no mention of their goals or performances though.

I'm pretty sure they did. It may have been pre-match KO.

Didn't watch the pre-match stuff, was trying to find a feed/stream online whilst the virus checker had heart failure!

Probably in the first 17 minutes I missed then.... Thank god I found a feed then, otherwise it would have actually been a very boring game for me to watch.
