Read somewhere they were paying Kane Hemmings 3.5k a week last season (50% of his total 7k a week Pox are paying him).

Jeez thats ridiculous, I did hear that they offered a lot more wages for Preston than we were willing to pay, they are gonna go bust paying out wages like that.

The Flitcroft thing makes rather more sense if they are willing to really spunk the cash, although if that were the case I would want a manager with a much better record than his?

Yes DF doesn't exactly have a good track record when it comes to management TBF. If Evans was still there I wouldn't raise an eyebrow.

Mansfield apparently are due to sign today the son of Des Walker - Tyler Walker from Nottm Forest for a large fee plus £5k per week doubling what Notts County were willing to pay him.
Ridiculous contract offer.
The transfer may be bona fide but why would they knowingly double what county have offered? Why not just offer £3k?

No idea just posting what the Notts County chairman apparently said earlier today, they made him a massive offer and Mansfield had already almost doubled that figure.

Exeter have signed Nicky Law from Bradford. I thought he was quality in the division above. Thought he was older than 30. Would have been happy if he had rocked up at the CG

Quite baffled that there wasn't more interest in L1 for him unless he's deteriorated rapidly over the last season.

I remember him, completely bald and ran the show for them in midfield? Was that the same game Anton Rodgers scored 'that' free kick?
