Almost to the point that we need to get our shit together so the new manager has time to see who he needs and what positions need filling with what type of player so we are not left playing catchup

I dunno, whats the rush indeed?

It might have something to do with the new season that starts in 10 weeks. Possibly with a little bit of us having no manager and probably not enough players to fill a squad chucked in.

What's the rush indeed.

Players can obviously be contacted and approached. Some teams are even making signings. Whodathunkit.

In any case from the outside it looks like we don't have a manager. And we need to start identifying targets now even if we do have to wait. 4 weeks or so until pre-season...

The shambles of the last three transfer windows can not be repeated IF we are serious about a large budget/ambition to get promoted.

Yeah its all obvious stuff, but its into the critical time now.

panic?

Frustration at lack of a manager progress and a worry that nothing has changed from the last two seasons, sure. Not sure that's panic, that's concern grounded in past performance.

If by the Lee Collins you mean the one who used to play for us, then no. He would be almost as old as Flitcroft now.

Our Lee Collins is exactly the same age as Flickers at 43. Actually born within 2 weeks of each other.
