Anderson scores on debut at Bolton. Trickled in of the back of his head apparently after bundling the keeper over.

Bendtner to Nottingham Forest I saw that & Sheff Weds signing a Dutch defender. I thought the window had shut, to the extent that Dean Cox cannot sign for anyone until January even though his contract has been terminated. So how come Forest & Wednesday can still sign players?

Yep. Bendtner was released in April for example.

And the Dutch player was released in June.

"glug glug glug, help, i can't touch the bottom " said Howe.
the Fatbury/Morgan meltdowns would be good though.

No way we'll be signing him for that much, and neither should we be.

Surely our interest was never serious. I mean fan lead rumour (rather than faux bid)

We may have made a brief enquiry:
Power: 'Ello guvner. How much for your boy Bogle? Grimsby Chairman: Hello mate. I reckon a mil or so should do it. Fancy it?... Lee? Are you there? Hello. Hello. Are you there Lee?
