Off to 'Muff to sign apparently - suppose if he says in england more chance of staying in Big Sam's thoughts if he can stay fit

Who was gaffer at Bolton when Wilshere went there?   Fairly sure Sam had gone by then  Hmmm

Jack wilshire signing for Bournemouth rather than try himself abroad epitomises the pampered, risk averse, spoilt, pandered 'headphones' generation of English footballer we all saw flop in the summer

Had a quick look and I think it was January 2010 that he went to Bolton, so just after Coyle took over!

I would entirely agree, however I think in this case Arsenal wouldn't do the deal with Roma due to some history between the clubs and thus Wilshire was left with limited choice. Doesn't remove the fact that Bournemouth is a bloody odd place for him to go.

No idea and cannot really be arsed to look, only saw the Roma stuff on the BBC. However I entirely agree that the failure of English players to move abroad does stall the development of the national team.

I dont know any of the players who seem to be going for between 10 an 30 million.  I tend to feel like the guardian cartoon this week sums it up nicely.
