sheffield utd bidding £1.5 million for a right back from cardiff. I fancy them to win the playoffs if the cup games dont hit them too hard. They have signed Paul Coutts and Kieron Freeman from Derby. Coutts is good for this level. They are looking to sign Brayford who is the LB and Chris O'Grady, a striker from Brighton. Sounds like they are spending some cash this window, just in time to play us

I've heard of the two of them but I can't proclaim to have had a sudden bout of fear by the news. They're making the most of their extra cup income though but Sheff Utd always bring in 'names'. I enjoyed their recent sentiments which went along the lines that if they were in the Championship right now then they'd be pushing for promotion.

As long as they're not buying our players I will cope, but spending our annual budget on a full back is pretty crazy

BBC was predicting an imminent bid from Newcastle for Dele Alli earlier on.
That would be nice. Losing him and Afobe might properly knock the wheels of Franchise.

I hope so, he is by far and away their best player.

Liverpool were supposed to be interested. Whoever buys him will allow him to go back on loan for the rest of the season anyway, unless it were one of the Prem teams towards the bottom of the division.

Franchise are expecting a bid in the region of £9m for Dele Alli. http://gu.com/p/456tv/stwUndoubtedly a very impressive young player but that's a hell of a price tag. Robinson was on TV this morning saying that they'd want him loaned back if they lose him this month - which would be a shame.

Indeed, in which case Luongo is DEFINATELY worth £5m+.
