American football boots

Can anyone tell me whether or not these are American Football boots because I don't have a clue what they look like. My nan gave them to me to try and sell them because she found them in her loft and doesn't know where they came from.

Look like rugby boots, but then if you look on top I'm not so sure...

The bit on the top on the front isn't very padded, which made me think that they weren't rugby boots, also they have plastic screw-in studs

so true, my Nan once gave me a Wombles tape for my birthday when I was little. My Mum tried to put it on in the car and the sound was all fucked up, screaming and squealing - it was like a womble massacre
