Jack Smith always played with a smile on his face - hard as nails - which quickly endured him to the home fans.  I remember one game where he actually punched the ball into the net, the ref must have been the only one in the ground who didn't see it - result absolute mayhem for the next 15 minutes or so.

How can it be when Smith is a surname and Medhi is a give name?

Not all cultures put the family name second.
