Cooper plays down the potential impact of Stephens
           
           



  MARK Cooper has insisted Jack Stephens won’t automatically become the linchpin of his defence, even if he does finally complete his loan return to the Country Ground.

Sounds a bit more promising that Stephens is on the way back.

Not sure if it has been said elsewhere on the forum but looking on the Southampton website they appear as short of defenders as we are and I am not convinced that Stephens will be allowed to leave this early in the season.
