i hope they don't fuck around too much with it.

Honda haven't released final spec or design of next generation Type R.

Likely to have between 210 and 220 bhp with a much lighter body than the Ashtray VXR or VW Golf.

All the other manufacturers have gone down the turbo route (Vauxhall, VW, Seat, Renault etc) but with Honda's Normally Asspirated is best philosphy, the new Type R engine is likely to be a high reving screamer again with i-VTEC to give a broad spread of torque even at low revs.

I have my test drive pre-booked already at my local Honda dealer
